One-on-one training with one of the Y’s certified personal trainers is a great option for personalized support on your health and wellness journey!

A personal trainer can help you with a wide variety of goals you might have, such as weight loss, improved cardiovascular health, strength training, nutrition, and more. In your initial session, the personal trainer will help evaluate your current fitness level, engage in conversation with you about your goals and aspirations, and help you develop a plan for the future!

Meet our Personal Trainers

Stefanie

Specialization: Stefanie provides individualized strength and/or cardio training for a wide range of fitness types, ages, and ability levels. She can help clients with basic strength/conditioning exercises as well as help clients further their current strength/conditioning training programs and meet performance goals. Equipment such as dumbbells, barbells, bands and body weight exercises, along with balance and functional training will be used to enhance the client’s fitness routine.


Education/Experience: BS in Sport Psychology/Exercise Science from WWU; ACE Certified Personal Trainer; 12 years of teaching experience

Kim

Specialization: Kim specializes in providing training for beginners to advanced lifters looking to build strength, endurance, physical resilience, and confidence through a fitness routine. Each session with Kim will include a thorough warm up with mobility and preventative habilitation exercises, a workout tailored to your goals, and a cool down. Workouts will be shared digitally so that Kim and client can track progress.


Education/Experience: NFPT Certified Personal Trainer; 7 years teaching experience; half-marathon and bodybuilding competition experience

Elena

Specialization: Elena specializes in helping women who want to lose weight and build lean muscle through nutrition and exercise by building strong habits and ditching quick fixes.

Education/Experience: Certified Nutrition Coach, PN level 1, Certified Health Coach PN level 2. NASM certified personal trainer, TRX certified instructor. NASM group fitness instructor. 10 years of experience in fitness.

Amy

Specialization: Amy specializes in training clients ranging from young adults to Active Older Adults, including cancer patients and survivors. She can provide individualized strength and cardio sessions, yoga sessions, and pilates sessions.

Education/Experience: ACE Group Fitness Instructor since 2015; Yoga Fit Level One certified since 2015; ACE Certified Personal Trainer; 7 years of teaching experience

Lifrage

Specialization: Lifrage specializes in helping clients interested in improving their muscular stability, endurance, hypertrophy, and/or power. Each session with Lifrage will include a warm up, large-muscle workout, small-muscle/core workout, and a cool down. Lifrage can help clients learn and improve fundamental barbell lifts such as bench press, deadlift, and squat to target large muscle groups. Additionally, Lifrage can help develop training plans for clients interested in boxing/kickboxing.

Education/Experience: NASM Certified Personal Trainer, 5 years of kickboxing experience, Brown Belt in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, 2-0 Amateur MMA Record, 2 Kickboxing exhibition matches

Elizabeth

Specialization: Elizabeth offers inclusive and adaptive personal training & focused on function, removing pain, improving mobility, and improving the overall quality of life for her clients. Her target audiences are:

  • Those with Parkinson’s and other degenerative health conditions
  • Those with chronic health conditions
  • Cancer patients and survivors
  • Those with intellectual and physical disabilities
  • Those recovering from injuries or in need of injury prevention support (including post-op joint replacement recovery)
