Y Riders is designed to build confidence in path/street riding and mountain biking. You will be introduced to standard mountain biking skills and learn how to properly and safely navigate this on your own bike.
Participants need to have the skill to ride in a straight line and navigate twists and turns of bike paths to enroll.
We do not have storage space for bikes, so riders will need to bring their bikes and gear home every day.
- Bike (recommend they can comfortably touch the ground when seated)
- Water bottle
- Sunscreen/bug spray (if necessary)
- Snack (optional)
- Dressed for weather, layers are encouraged
